We've played before and won the series 2-1, and we've yet to face Cain so that's still undetermined. I wouldn't call the best pitcher in baseball either just because he had that perfect game.

You can thank Gregor Blanco for making an unbelievable catch to seal that perfect game.

The perfect game is just the icing on the cake for his claim as the top pitcher in baseball. The last few years he was a top 10-15 pitcher but this year he is clearly #1. His numbers are unbelievable.

Who out there is having a better season?

I'd take RA Dickey.

There numbers are nearly identical. I'd take Cain, though. NYY roughed Dickey up this week & I don't trust knuckle ball pitchers.

Kershaw, Strasburg, Cain, Bumgarner, Gonzalez, Zimmerman, Beachy... NL is loaded with young aces.

Dodgers win over the Padre's 2-1 last night thanks to Mark Ellis' 2 run homer.
