Good God this sucks....you traded our first next year, and our second and fourth when we don't have a third to draft Chandler fuging Jones (who in all likelihood despite what you think, will be there at #40) just terrible. If you're dead set on trading back into the first and getting a DE at least get a guy who is a first rounder like Perry, and for the love of all that is holy don't touch our fuging first....

I said I didn't know exactly the cost bro. And Chandler is more and more likely becoming a first rounder and could very well be taken before Perry.

Didn't mean to pie at all, hate typing on the iPad. The problem is you're selling the future and giving up not just one but two valuable picks to get a guy who isnt even a consensus first rounder. The problem with this draft is there's only about 7 or so impact prospects in the first. Jones isn't one of them, so why would you trade not only our early second this year but our first next year in what should be a MUCH stronger draft....

This trade is likely not going to happen anyway. So don't stress over it, but if it does, I'm sure the patriots would listen if we offer them nxt year first and this year fourth. We'll have two first and still able to keep our second.

If you dont know, jones is a talented DE who has great size, at 6'5", can def. bulk up in the nxt level. He's been crazy moving up the draft board. Don't believe me, go google it up yourself. Many places I looked, he's a first rounder. He's a player I compared to Aldon Smith, like many times I said before. I think we all knew who Aldon was going into the draft but never expected him to be drafted as the no.7 pick and to light up the NFL, the way he did. Every year there's a player who will go higher than people think, and that could very well be Jones this year. I also don't see him being there at 40. Why not trade back into the first for a guy like Jones, where we can groom and be an added piece to the defense this season. Nxt year may be a stronger class, but from what I think, we'll be drafting in the 20s somewhere where the impact defensive guys will be gone once our pick come to us.

Mathews and Smith were surprised picks. No one or myself didn't knoe much about them. Jones could very well be a player like them. Dont just count off a player like Jones just by what people project him to be drafted.
