The Denver Broncos have released veteran cornerback Andre' Goodman, the team announced.

Goodman, 33, had 49 tackles and two interceptions for Denver last season as he started every game.

Goodman became expendable when the Broncos signed former New Orleans Saints cornerback Tracy Porter.

He intercepted seven passes in three seasons in Denver, including five three years ago.

Goodman has prevous stints with the Miami Dolphins and the Detroit Lions.

For his career, Goodman has 342 tackles, 19 interceptions, one sack, 90 pass deflections and three forced fumbles.
