Could We Be Packers 2.0 In This Year Draft?

Usually trading into a round usually requires trading next year's previous round pick. For example, if you want to trade into the 2012 3rd round, it would cost a 2013 2nd round pick.

That said, I have no idea what the cost of moving back up would be. Next year's first and a fourth or fifth this year?

Yah, I would not mind at all investing next year 1st if Perry is there. Perry has 1st rd written all over him, so we shouldn't go crazy if we gave away nxt year first for someone like him. Since, I believe we'll be picking in the later first next year anyway. And for Jones, I think the kid is a sleeper, someone like Aldon Smith.

Anything involving next year's first would be a hard pill to swallow, but I might think about it to acquire Jones or Hightower depending upon evaluations.

I think Hightower will be gone in the early 20s.

Don't sleep on Hicks. I am thinking that we should draft Akiem Hicks (DT, Regina via LSU) if he is still available in the later rounds. According to Kiper's evaluation, the kid has got some promise. Looked at some video that is hard to evaluate considering the lack of competition, but he looks like a potential monster. I am thinking that he should be on our radar.

If Nick Perry turned out to be 80 percent of Aldon Smith last year, then he'd be worth the pick. The Seahawks will probably snap him up though.

Perry's stock is all over the place, but I like him. In some ways I feel like he's a better prospect than Ingram, but because he's a USC Trojan you have to be wary. Would literally poop my pants if we took Cox in the 1st and Perry in the 2nd, it just won't happen. :(

Yah. But I think Chandler is closer to Aldon.

I think Perry could be a Trent Cole.

Lets hope Seahwaks take Kuechly.

Aldon Smith is also very limited. I swiped him up last season in my IDP league in the draft and the guy can pass rush well in the 3-4, it will be interesting to see what he can do with more snaps this season. The Chandler Jones comparison is very good as well, almost identical frames.

I knoe that you're probably don't know exactly, but is it just next year first and a fourth or fifth? Do we have to give them our 2nd also? Bc I would make the trade in a heart beat if it's just costing us our fourth this year. I was ready to give them our next yr 1st, and this year 2nd/4th. Lol

Bc I think the Packers gave up a next year first, their 2nd, and like two 3rds.

Anybody knows the exact cost to move up into the Pats' 27 or anywhere in the lower 20s?

Big fan of Aikem Hicks wouldnt mind him in the 5th round. with that said, i would not want to move back up in the first. some major talent should still be on the board at 40.

I think the big names that could be there at 40th would probably be Brown, David, and maybe JJ. I don't think Brown and David would make an impact on our D like a Chandler. And, probably not going to consider JJ due to his off field, even though I love that boy.

Im thinking that when 40th comes by, most of the talented pass rushers will be gone. I'd like to add a DE than a LB and going to hope that Captain, Hogan and Butler can compete for the no.2 spot.
