im not here to win debates just get people to see things from a different point of view. you have been discouting everything but Cox in every thread when the evidence says that they are looking at other positions. WR is a need as well, if you want to accept that or not.

That is a wrong statement I've never said they weren't looking at other position. They are doing there due diligence on all position and draft senario. I don't have to agree with you or anybody that thinks wr is a need. I rather use this year to see what Lafell , Gettis and Plaris can do.

I don't want to draft him anywhere in the 1st round.

That is fine, but I think he is worth a first round selection (a late one anyway). I would prefer we go with a different position with our first pick personally.

You do know Reggie ball never played with Thomas? Nesbit was his qb. Nesbit was a better passer than tevon Washington (who was hill's qb his last year)

Just figured since you were talkin so much trash against hill and Thomas that you would like to know who was there qb. Reggie ball didn't play with either of them

Mav hit it on the money earlier in the thread...you can never have too many weapons. Also, we weren't perfect in red zone efficiency last season.

If we don't go CB or DL in the first, I would not recommend getting a WR in the 2nd but if the talent sitting there in the second after getting a Gilmore, Cox, Ingram, or hell Claiborne just for sh*t and giggle...take it. Just hope its not gonna end up like some Jarrett/Colbert/Carlos Rogers/Devin Thomas type and we can develop a lethal machine under Robby C

Good you got me I'm off by 1 year. Taylor Bennett, Joshua Nesbitt,( Which they both played for) and Tevin Washington.

I still rather give Lafell and Gettis another year before looking at a 1st round wr.

Still we are debating a wr who had 49 rec 1,248 yards and 9 td in 3 years at college. But people at like I'm crazy for not wanting him in the 1st round.

It'll be hard in a topic about hill to change people's opinion on him. I like him and if somehow he drops to our 2nd round pick then I'm all for taking him. But I also think gettis (if he stays healthy) could be a great #2 wr either this year or next.

This is why I'm staying out of the Gilmore thread. I think it would be a bad move drafting him at 9. He has been barely over average 90% of his career ( not good, but not bad), having the occasional good game. Our first pick should not be fully on someone's potential, but someone who has been dominate in his college career.
