There's never been a sideline reporter in the history of the sports that has offered anything of value, so why not have an attractive one just look pretty? I don't see what the big deal is.

I don't completely disagree with you, but Suzy Kolber does offer some decent commentary at times. And after all, without her, I wouldn't be able to get away with saying "I want to kiss you" to bartenders and waitresses when I'm drunk on Sundays.

She is a joke in the media. Female journalists hate her even more than I do; most think she is setting women back as far as ever being anything more than sideline reporters. When she was talking about Cosby's famous "Chicken Heart" sketch, it felt like she was insulting him. But I did get a kick out him totally ignoring her.

Susie Kolbert, on the other hand, is one of my favorite journalists, and at least she has a modicum of sports knowledge and doesn't need a low-cut top to do a puff-piece interview.

I am used to all women in the sports tv world being know-nothings/bimbos hired solely for pulchritude. It's annoying, I wish they were hired for knowledge, but that's the way it is. And that's the way it will always be because the large segment of viewers and bosses at networks, who are male, want it that way.

Disagree. I've liked Andrea Kremer, Michelle Tafoya and Lesley Visser (among others).
