we have needs in other positions, i think Darron Thomas (Oregon) or Jordan Jefferson (LSU) in undrafted is adequate with Newton and Anderson.

He's going to play (and IMO eventually start) in the NFL. He's just too good not to...someone is going to give him a chance to lead a team and IMO he's gonna be able to do it well. I said while he was at NC State that if he was an inch and a half taller he'd probably be a top 10 pick. Bobby Bowden said he was the best player he had played against since Mike Vick. Along with being a great leader I think he throws the best deep ball in the of anyone in the nation.

Unless all our opponents start wearing Carolina Blue uniforms he won't be all that great. On the flipside, if they do, we are looking at the next great NFL quarterback.

Seriously though this is a very intelligent and athletically gifted kid. 6th round would be a steal and without feeling the need to give it one second of consideration, I would have to say he would be BPA if still available in the 6th round and quite possibly would be if picked anywhere in the 5th.
