It makes sense to look to trade down if we can get our third rounder back. Still how much will a team want to give up to move up to 9th unless a real impact player really drops. Then why wouldn't we take that player???

I think it would also be cheap to move up if everyone is looking to move down. If St Louis gets jobbed and Blackmon and Richardson are gone why not move down 3 spots and pick up an extra fourth.

If we pick up a LB with our 9th pick, I would be pretty upset. I would rather reach for Kirkpatrick or Gilmore with that pick than draft a LB..... Dline is a must and need.

Well he talks about BPA every year and that's the strategy he usually employs. People just don't learn, they think that a positional need means that we'll definitely pick that spot. Worse still, they think that having depth in a certain position in a draft means you shouldn't touch pick one early. That's just not how Hurney thinks.
