Carolina Panthers

Record: 6-10 | Top needs: CB, OLB, WR, OT, DT, G, DE

car.gif

Fletcher Cox*, DT, Mississippi State

Scenario 1: Coach Ron Rivera needs an impact D lineman at some point, and Cox's versatility, explosiveness and motor would be put to good use.

Scenario 2: Bolster the defensive line with a defensive end such as Ingram if he should be available.

Scenario 3: Take their highest-rated available player at a position of need, whether that's Reiff, Floyd or South Carolina CB Stephon Gilmore.

Reiff, Kuechly, Coples all available, among others. He mocks Ingram to Jax and Tannehill to Miami. The top 6 are straightforward (Luck, RGIII, Kalil, Richardson, Claiborne, Blackmon).

I've had Cox locked in as our first pick since March lol, what do I have to do to replace these "experts" on ESPN and get paid bank?

I think we will come out of this draft better by reaching for Gilmore with our first then taking the best DL in the second.

Id rather have a

Gilmore & Worthy / Still / Curyy / Jones / Thompson combo

than a

Cox & any nickle back in the second

Nobody is dumb enough to reach for Gilmore in the top 10 are you kidding me? He is going to bust at corner anyways, Gilmore is a safety at best.

Thank God fans aren't in charge of the draft..

It will be Brockers, trust me.

Even though many mocks have us taking Cox, the Panthers have shown little interest in Cox and none in Poe. Brockers was the first player visited also.

There was enough interest in Cox for him to visit two days in a row here, and then for Hurney to act all weird about it today. That pretty much confirms for me that Cox is probably going to be the pick.

Could possibly be the pick, but we spent a whole lot more of times with Brockers: first player to visit, combine, and pro day.

As good as Cox is, I think it's a reach at 9th.

I don't believe Brockers would bc I think he's not a finish product yet. I think Cox doesn't have as much room like Brockers to grow.

But I wouldn't care who it is. Love to have either one.

Just wait, the new commissioner will be forced to reinstate Payton and Loomis after Goodell gets fired for treason against America's team.

New Orleans is part of America? I thought that place was just a little sand bar in the Gulf coast.
