Nope...just pointing out that your opinion is completely counter to evidence on game tape and the evaluation of every draft expert out there. Gilmore is widely viewed as the 2nd best CB in this draft....Kirkpatrick is the CB that many are saying is stiff and will likely play safety in the NFL.

And there are a lot of experts that thought Cam's game wouldn't translate to the NFL, or that Aaron Curry was going to be a superstar linebacker. Experts are wrong some times my friend.

I watched the tapes, and I gave my evaluation. Until he plays a season you can't tell me that he is a true NFL man coverage corner.

Aside from his above-average physical attributes, what makes you think he can cut it at cornerback? Tight hips, backpedal is really high, and atrocious footwork are HUGE red flags for any corner. If you're adamant about taking him a corner, he's a pure zone corner. He just doesn't have the physical talents to play in man coverage. The tight hips make me feel he needs to move to safety.

I don't claim to be an expert but I've never liked Gilmore and I always pull for the home team. I've seen Gilmore get burned numerous times, kinda like Cap did last season. Although I think Cap is much better than Gilmore. I say that we should take a shot on JJ. I thinks he may be the best CB in the draft, his off the field issues is killing him, but that may help us, if we want him...
