I Remeber Having This Big Debate About Blackmon.

Both were drafted in the 20's still 1st round talent but not team changing talent.

Kidding me right?

If they're not game changer, then I dont know.

Nicks tear it up in the postseason. And remember when he simply killed our secondary for three tds in the first game of the 10' season.

Bowe has tremendous abilities. He grabbed 15 tds in 2010 also. I think the fact why Bowe name is not mentioned as much is due to the lack of stability at QB.

Very good Wr but they nor Blackmon are a Megatron or Aj green or Fitz. Megatron would make me forget the fact that our defense gave a 200 yard rushing day to a rb that was on his couch the week before. Blackmon doesn't.

Megatron could make me forget the fact that we let the colts get 21 points with Curtis Pantier as there QB. Blackmon doesn't.

Megatron could make me forget that we have the 28th ranked defense. Blackmon doesn't.

So unless your saying that Blackmon can make a Megatron like impact on this team (Which you aren't crazy enough to beleive). He isn't the kind of player you take when you have more pressing needs.

True, Blackmon may not make Clavin's impact but no one said we needed a WR. But if he's there at 9th, we got to take him for consideration due to his abilities and potential.

Calvin is who he is bc of Stafford also.

Not saying Calvin can't put up numbers without him but gotta give some love to his QB.

We can't even compare Blackmon to Green so take his name out already.

Can't even compare him to Megatron. Megatron was also the no.2 pick.

It all will depend on whos throwing the ball to Blackmon this season. Julio would've never put up those numbers if he was with the Browns last year. If you check most of Jones' big games, it came from weak defenses like us and the colts where he grabbed 4tds altogether. I expected more impact from him especially with him being the no.2 WR getting single coverage to his side.

I'm just saying I wouldn't be counting Blackmon out already this early.

I'll start judging him after his first season.

And for Larry, he's a top five WR but I'd feel really good having Gamble locking him all day. I think we all seen Larry have one unstoppable season only and much of his good times came from Kurt and playing beside Boldin.

I seen Gamble shut Larry down twice already.

If Fox wasnt dumb enough, he would've put Gamble on Larry in the Playoffs and we probably would've been in the Super Bowl.

Blackmon can be as good as T.O. and yes, Id take T.O.over Larry.

That's not even close

Jarret college career #

216rec. 3,138 yards and 41td in 3 years (While playing with Steve Smith, Reggie Bush, Lendal White, and Fred davis)

Justin Blackmon college career #

152 rec 3,564 yards and 40 td (playing 1 year with Dez Byrant)

So why can't you compare them again?

I'm not comparing stats. I'm comparing solely based on skillsets, abilities, and potential.

Y'all make me laugh by trying to find any excuses to use.

Jarrett? Really?

Wasn't you who said in the last thread with this debate that collegiate performance does not translate to the pros? So why are you going to compare their stats? And my bad, if it wasnt you.

Skillset

Blackmon is faster Jarret 5inches taller Both had good hands.

Jarret was more of a deep threat.

Blackmon is more elusive in the open field.

We won't know who's smarter until Blackmon is in the league.

So What skill set are you talking about.

Don't make a fool out of yourself. This post is going to be bump to the front the second Blackmon score his first td in the preseason.

I'm just trying to help you out.

Save it bro.

And comparing Blackmon to Jarrett is really just dumb. Not even a debatable topic anymore.
