Getting rid of the Yukon Denali and getting an Acura TL.

It's time. Been driving Yukons, Tahoes, and Expeditions for a while now.

$4.50 per gallon here we come.

The new Acura TL's look bad in my opinion. But the last generation TL's looked good. In fact, it's one of my favorite cars.

I've been driving an Expedition for almost seven years now. I'd like to swap it for something more fuel efficient but I'm tall so it would have to be really roomy.

If gas price is really a concern then why go with a line of vehicles that will require premium instead of regular? That's twenty cents a gallon you could save just by going with a Chevy or Honda instead of a luxury line.

yea... the premium gas really does kinda negate any savings you might be getting.

plus all service is more expensive. the mechanics charge more per hour, the fluids cost more, etc.

If you are getting the 99-03 generation, beware. They are nice cars but are plagued with transmission problems. Your best bet is to get an 04-08 model. There's nothing wrong with the current generation, but it's absolutely hideous in my opinion.

I run mid grade in my TL when the prices are up...never notice a difference...as for the fluids costing more...I disagree...might cost more when you change your oil, but it's synthetic and will last much longer than the conventional oil change in the chevy or honda...and aren't most vehicle recommending synthetic or at least blended oils these days?

you get what you pay for and the ride, the finish, the options...well worth it if you can afford a couple extra bucks in my opinion

imo you should use synthetic regardless of what you drive... i used to run mid in my integra and it ran like garbage.

Have not pulled the trigger yet but drove an 06 TL for a while yesterday.
