Thought it was a good pick upon looking at his combine numbers, but I'm having second thoughts. Says "he has proven incapable of carrying the ball" and that he's slow getting into his routes. The guy has 4.6 speed and strength, but he's pretty much just a blocker. His scouting report says he is too stiff and slow on the field to play h-back or tight end because he takes too long to get into his route.

This draft grows more disappointing.

The ESPN crew loves the pick (or loved the pick. Who knows when the server will stop imploding and I can actually post this). They say he is a perfect fit for our system. And he was Kiper's BPA and ESPN's top-rated fullback.

I personally don't know enough about him to have an opinion. I'm just stating the facts.

I do know, however, that he wouldn't have fallen to us in the 5th, and we need to start grooming a good FB.

Love the pick. Might be because I live in Syracuse, but he was the only high point of the team last year. Besides we need a fb so why not get the best available.

Love this pick, best FB in the draft. If we have one of the best FBs in the league for the next 6-10 years then it's more than worth a late 4th pick. Especially with how we run our offense.

Coulda got a big blocking FB who can't carry a football as an UDFA. Disliking our second day a whole bunch.
