Person and the Observer allow weeks to go by with their Panther website not updated. The Rock Hill Herald has better coverage...unacceptable..

You should know by now that Hurney does not care for the NFL media. He started out as a beat writer for the Redskins. He knows every trick in the book.

I don't think "sneaky" is the word that I would use to describe Marty's philosophy, but it's quite obvious that he prefers everything to be kept in-house and only reveals stuff that he feels comfortable with. There is no leak with this team (at least now). That's why I had a huge chuckle when Kalil was trolling everyone implying that HBO was targeting the Panthers for Hard Knocks. No way in hell Marty would ever approve of something like that, and it would basically take an over rule from Mr.Richardson to allow HBO to film here.

Gantt was a great beat guy for us b/c it was obvious he had some pull within the locker room and FO. That's probably why the observer dismissed him from the job. I'm not a conspiracy guy, but you gotta believe if Mr.Richardson made a call to the right person at the CO....................

The Observer is for mainstream 50 somethings that can't work a computer. Mainstream 50 somethings don't demand year round coverage. Why would he invest so much time and effort into articles that a few hundred people are going to read.

gotta agree w/ this post. My parents are always bitching about saving money and not spending it on BS, yet they still get the CO everyday.

I mean, I enjoy a nice sports section when I'm taking a crap, but literally everything from the CO is posted online.

I took a mass media class in college like 2 years ago and the instructor mentioned at least once a lecture that a news paper hard copy will be extinct in 10 years.

I've been hating on brockers ever since he declared, but now that his draft buzz has cooled down I've kinda jumped on his bandwagon. I'm tired of watching our defense get pushed around in the run game, Ron Edwards returning with brockers and beason/TD we should be much better against the run

Joe Person should know better. He should know we're not taking Brockers beacuse he's too much of a project, an unknown commodity.

At #9 we need a player that can come in and immediately contribute. We need an impact player if we're gonna take the next step and make the playoffs this season.

I know who you're talking about
