If The Stars Align And We Get Morris Claiborne In The 1St

A 4? Really? Do the Panthers really want a player who scored a 4 on the Wonderlic test? Vince Young scored higher than that (not much) and look where he's at.

My cat could take the test and score higher than that! (Of course, she's a very smart cat!)

Not only does he have a learning disability, some people just don't take standardized tests very well. Just because he can't tell you what the original price on an item that costs $25 after a 10% markup costs, doesn't mean he can't cover the poo out of an NFL receiver.

Would never happen, The Planets can never align as they rotate on different planes and at different degrees.

I never said anything about planets aligning. Planets =/= Stars.

Gamble didn't score all that much higher.

Dwayne was lazy and didnt want to learn the playbook.completely different situation.

I hope you're right.

This is going to be a tough draft for the Panthers. They may not be able to sign all their draft pics. The are dead last in cap space with only $500,000 and change to spend. The FO better get busy reworking contracts, work some trades or make some cuts before the draft!

It would not suprise me to see the Panthers trade down in the first round to try and lighten their payout load.

Every team gets a certain amount of money that does not count to your cap to sign your draft picks. Signing our draft picks is not a problem even with the HORRIFIC money management by the so-called "cap genius" everyone on here talks about, known as Hurney.

Didn't want to start a new thread but ran across an article on ESPN where Bill Polian suggested the Vikings and Dolphins trade so Miami can jump Cleveland for Tannehill.

The most likely competition for Tannehill is the Cleveland Browns at No. 4 overall. That means, in order to assure themselves of selecting Tannehill, the Dolphins would need to move up to the No. 3 pick in a trade with the Vikings. In my mind, this is a trade you must make if you're the Dolphins. There is no reason to gamble and hope that he falls to No. 8. With the new CBA, Tannehill's position as a QB and his contract wouldn't be an impediment to moving up to No. 3 to select him. And even if the Browns do pass on Tannehill at No. 4, there's no guarantee a team like Kansas City won't trade up to take him.

The domino effect from this will be interesting, especially as it pertains to Claiborne dropping to us. If Minny drops that low, they won't pass on him if he falls and they don't see a OL they want.
