Probably because Steve Smith nor Kasay have retired yet.

Still should be top 3 in any top 10 Panthers list. I question the football knowledge of those that don't even put him on their list.

I put him on the list of top 10 New Orleans Saints. That's where he played the vast majority of his career. Jerome Bettis was on NFLN's list of top 10 Steelers. His first three years were with the Rams. Does that make him a top 10 Ram? He has a statue because the organization was giddy about their 12-4 record in Year Two and wanted to put up statues. Do you consider Mike McCormack a face of the franchise?

Walls was among the best in the league at his position for a long time, Beason already has more accomplishments than Morgan, mostly because he was able to stay healthy up until last year. Williams is easily the team's all time leading running back.

I dont know if you can include deangelo without mentioning j-stew. they feed off each other. and in the end jonathan stewart will be remembered as the better rb. his beast mode and athleticism is amazing

Anyone who doesn't think Sam Mills is one of the all time Panthers greats is plain idiotic. Let's forget that he was a position coach from '98-'04 on top of his three seasons as a player for the team. It was his determination and drive to continue coaching after being diagnosed that defined him as a person. Not many people can do that and his courage when ill and his leadership and inspiration while playing is what made the organisation recognise his impact and honour him since his death.

He is the only player to have a statue and only player to have their number retired. He tops any of these lists.
