Armanti was just a mid round draft pick. The Kuechly fanatics are actually suggesting we spend a top ten pick on the RB of the defense.

Who is available to draft matters. Each draft is built differently.

Beason went at 25 and LBs went at 11 and 15 that year before him. Not much difference taking one at 9....especially in a draft where the drop of is pretty big after the first 5 are taken. Year later one went to NE at 10.

Also LBs can play quickly in the NFL like RBs. LB isn't the RB of defenses though.

Edwards, because most of his fans didn't even realize there was a professional team in the same state he played college in and figured it out when he was drafted by the Panthers. This caused all of his fans to latch on to the Panthers and become Edward nut huggers.

If you are referring to my post, I would love to know how... there were literally NO Carolina Panther fans who lived in Boone or the surrounding area until Edwards was drafted by the Panthers and most of them lost interest when they realized he wasn't going to play much.

Where in the high holy fug do you get that assumption from? I'm from Boone, and the vast majority of people, that I know from that town in my 25 years of living there before I moved, were Panther fans if they were NFL fans at all. I've met more Panther fans, as a ratio, in Boone than anywhere I've lived. Here on the coast almost no one is a Panther fan.

I'm not trying to insult anyone and I'm especially not trying to insult Boone, App State/Boone is one of the nicest places in North Carolina.

The point of this thread was to identify the more annoying group of fans and that's simply what I was doing.
