Beason Lookin Strong

Ok but we know Beason can play football at the highest level. The only question we have/had is if he could cut, run at full speed and be explosive. If he can do those things then he can play football.

Also not all those moves were planned/calculated. You can see Beason missing the "break" command on one of those drills and is lost for about a half second until he repeats it. He was reacting to directions of a handful of those drills.

Also if we want a LB as insurance for Davis, why not look in later rounds for that? MLB isn't Keuchly's natural position (although I'm sure he can play OLB fine) and we can get some of the best OLB prospects in rounds 2-4. The key here is value. Using a top ten pick for an OLB who may or may not be needed isn't a good value pick.

That is the best option. Wasting a 1st on LBer right now would be not smart thing to do. Waiting until maybe round 4 would be the best option.

Point is.....that video doesn't mean diddly poo. Already knew he was working out for months. Any player coming off a major injury can put out a similar video if they wanted to....

Not hating. Just not fap fap fapping to nothing. Beason coming back is still the same concern it was the day before he released that.

every move he made was a football move that translate to the game. he shown no limp. TD tore his acl backpeddling in workouts the 2nd time which is a football move. now i know comparing the injuries are 2 different things but Beason just showed you he can make the moves needed to play at a high level, and its only april. so yeah you are hating a lil.

Exactly, Demeco Ryans seemed very slower than what he used to be, Beason looks exactly the same. Job well done by Dr. Andrews.

Beason had a leg injury going into the Combine so I wouldn't used that to help your argument. Until Kuechly becomes a All Pro 3 time pro bowler don't say he is better then beason.

In terms of prospects coming out of college....Luke projects better than Beason did ( and he was a first rounder). Leg injury doesn't matter....point only is Luke isn't slow LB like some want to suggest. Beason has never had sub 4.5 speed....so if he was 100% at his combine he would have only had a comparable time to Luke

Was being sarcastic in the color reference. The level of competition worries me about Luke. He is a very good prospect, not quite on the level of pat willis. Also we have no idea what he is as a leader or what his football IQ is. Those two factors are not in any doubt for beason.

Cos the ACC is bush league? C'mon now.

How does Beason look the same?

Have you watched him run down a ball carrier? Try to cover a TE or RB? Have you watched him react and respond to an opponent?

Bottom line is that video really doesn't show what many suggest. There simply isn't the means to compare what he did in that video with what he use to do on a field.

Luke not on this team Beason is we should be happy we have such a leader. But again Beason wasn't as highly thought of going into the draft but Luke has a long way to go to prove he is better then Beason.
