Beason Lookin Strong

How does Beason look the same?

Have you watched him run down a ball carrier? Try to cover a TE or RB? Have you watched him react and respond to an opponent?

Bottom line is that video really doesn't show what many suggest

His change in direction does not look different. But, please continue on your love fest for Kuechly.

Bottom line is that video really doesn't show what many suggest. There simply isn't the means to compare what he did in that video with what he use to do on a field.

We won't know any of that stuff until real games start. Video does show he's running cutting, and can change direction pretty well.

But with all this stuff you said we don't know if Kuechly can do that in the Pro's.

Ryans also couldn't rehab from his injury properly because it was during the lockout, and could not get the help of team trainers. Beason is, and he has almost 4 entire more months for him to rehab. He'll be ready.

To be fair about that one study that keeps getting posted, a lot of the data is from the nineties/early 2000s.

Thats pre-HGH and before all the crazy jumps in arthroscopic surgery.

Its also a detail most people leave out.

We got people who are pessimistic and other people who are optimistic. Im a optimistic type of person, good for Beason, running with weights attached to him, cutting and turning on the dime, sprinting and jogging, Beason looked good out there, they say it takes a year to fully heal, I'm happy to have Beason back in the field, to all the people who are pessimistic, I understand you views, I like to hope for the best, you like to prepare for the worse, lets leave it at that.....

No reason not like what Kuechly brings.

Thoughts on Beason shouldn't be much different than they were the day before he released that video. And again, wanting to add what is likely the BPA on D at our draft spot isnt an anti Beason stance.

I think CRA is right. The video just shows a one legged man going through planned drills. Nowhere near what will happen on a football field, My judgement is withheld until the moment he lays the wood on some poor Offensive player. Then i will commence to celebrate like everyone else. August can't get here fast enough.

Bottom line is your wrong. It shows his vertical and lateral movements and also shows him cutting on both ankles. All of which are problems associated with his surgery. So stop trying to wish the man away cause he isn't going.

All this "Kuechly is faster than Beason" nonsense is short sighted. Maybe Kuechly can run in a straight line to 40 yards faster than Beason did (who apparently wasn't 100% when he did it), but watching youtube videos (all we got to go off of as fans) Kuechly doesn't change direction or close on a ball carrier EVEN CLOSE to as quick as Beason. Beason's reaction time and closing speed is WAY faster than Kuechly's appeared in the game. I could give a fug if Kuechly can run the 40 faster than Beason, with pads on Beason is noticeably quicker.
