Wilmington Azalea Festival

Anyone going? I want to go, but not by myself. My husband will be there Friday for the garden party but that's it. I want to go to the parade and other stuff Saturday.

Street fair on Saturday is pretty good. Fireworks downtown Sat night. Other than that, not much.

Unless you care about the shitty concerts.

I go every year to eat my weight in funnel cakes and to check out the cool stuff the vendors are selling.

It's a nice atmosphere and it's definitely a fun, well spent day.

I wouldnt go near it anymore -

as far as the funnel cakes- I dont eat anything at fairs or carnivals anymore- one year I saw this big fat guy making funnel cakes- it was hot as hell and his sweat was dripping into the dough and into the deep fat fryer right off the tip of his nose - no thanks

I have a seminar next Saturday so I won't be there.. it'll probably be the No Azalea festival this year though...
