Wilks Comments On Draft And Current Roster

With pass rushers at a premium I'm starting to back off of taking a CB early and instead look to the later rounds, maybe even the 2nd round, for a CB. One of the top DTs or DEs though I'm not unhappy with our current group. Brockers, Still, Coples or Ingram should get long looks

Brockers!!!

I find it funny how everybody has forgotten about MB. I also find it funny that every time you hear a Panther player or scout or draft expert say anything about the Panthers is that they need long term help in the middle.

I find it funny how the huddle in general chooses to overlook that point. Brockers was the first guy they brought in and had him scheduled long in advance.

Looks like we're the last ones standing in the Brockers bandwagon. :)

I'm staying in the wagon. Was on the Cam wagon last year till the end so this year will be no different. I hope we are ultimately right on this one JB I know for a fact that this guy would be an instant upgrade for us and would make the future very bright for our front line.

I look at Brockers production in the best conference against the best players and he was a beast when he was in there. He racked up very impressive stats for a part time player. This guy is 6'5"3/4 322lbs and has very long arms, huge wingspan.

The experts say that if he returned to LSU he would be top five next year. All the "there is no Suh" people need to understand there may never be a Suh again, that doesn't mean that you don't draft probably the top DT in the draft!

DT this year is as blatant a need as QB last year and just like last year people on this board refuse to admit it. We needed both last year we got the QB now we need "that guy" at DT simple and plain.

This draft is one of the deepest at CB in history and there are plenty of excellent LBs that can be had later also IMO. The Panthers have to finally plug this hole.
