Video: Van Gundy Says That Dwight Asked That Ownership Fire Him

As hard as Orlando is trying to keep Howard, expect SVG gone at the end of season and Orlando will be scrambling to land another free agent to keep Howard happy. If not, Plan B will be resorting to trade him before next season's trade deadline to get any value they can before he leaves for nothing in free agency.

I dont think it is possible for Dwight to annoy me any more this season. My god he is the biggest baby in the NBA- he cares WAAAY too much about how people view him. First he wanted to go to the lakers, then decided against it because he didnt want to be too much like Shaq. Jesus man just make up your damn mind on whether you are staying or leaving.

Oh, and by the way, Stan Van Gundy has been awesome this year. What the fug did you expect him to do when Ryan Anderson is your 2nd best player and the only other legitimate NBA players on the team are Jason Richardson (old, hasnt played well), Hedo Turkoglu (also old), Jameer Nelson (terrible this year), JJ Redick, and Glen Davis. Oh, and your best player has been involved in an ongoing soap opera the entire season too. Its a bunch of one-dimensional 3 point shooters + Dwight, and yet they somehow have the 4th best record in the East.

If you're going to demand someone be fired, why not the GM Dwight?

It is a longshot at best but if he is available this summer AND we get Anthony Davis in the draft, we may be able to get him here. He is a good Xs & Os coach and that is what Bismak, Kemba and Davis would need to help them progress.

Wont be the first time a superstar NBA player gets a coach run out of town, or the last.

Sometimes it works out, see Magic Johnson/Paul Wewsthead/Pat Riley. Lakers had a lot of success under Westhead but the team didn't like him and their Superstar spoke out.

A happy clubhouse keeps your star in town. We'll see what the Magic decide.
