no poo, the bounties is the only reason why this is news. the guy that even made the report said the only reason why i put this out here is because of the bounties(seen on espn). plenty of teams on every level say far fetched things before a game to get players fired up.

So basically you just posted to be contrary? What was your point again?

Dont usually listen too closely when Micheal Irvin speaks but this is right on.

Michael Irvin “almost threw up” when he heard Gregg Williams speech

“Since you were a baby you’ve understood never take out a man’s knees and on this tape he’s talking about taking out an ACL,” Irvin said on NFL Network. “I almost threw up when I heard it. I pulled back any covers that I may have had for a coach. If he is out of the league forever, it would be only the right thing to do.”

Williams is currently serving an indefinite suspension, and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will consider allowing Williams back into the league after a year. Irvin said he doesn’t think Goodell should permit Williams coach again.

“The Commissioner, you can’t let [Williams] back in,” Irvin said.

This goes beyond "rara talk." When you specifically say to go after someones head and reference their previous concussions, and hitting the qb in the chin and offering to make the first payment, and take someone out who is "on the sidelines" you have crossed the line into reprehensible behavior. There is no way anyone in their right mind can believe that this speech was anything but dirty and despicable. I am very surprised that someone on this board who is not a Saints fan is trying to defend this as anything other than what it is.

consussion are apart of the game. im not defending what they are saying, just simply stating that coaches say outragoues stuff before a game. lets go kill them guys, lets go knock the poo out of them, etc...... but saying you will attack a guys acl is however dirty.

I think the entire Saints organization got off way too easy on this one. They knew it was happening and did nothing to stop it. Williams had been doing this for a long time...Payton wanted him so badly he paid part of his salary. Any reputable organization would have fired Payton and Loomis. Payton should be banned from ever being a head coach. Loomis should have gotten a year too.

This was so blatant....I think anyone one the team who says they had no idea cannot be telling the truth.

Would lose respect for Parcells if he associates himself with this organization.
