Justin Blackmon To Visit Panthers

Dude, every wr in the NFL is different. They have their own talents. Some have their similaritites.

But for you to pass on a top 5 talent in the draft due to his lack of size, which is still very good (6'1") is plain stupid.

Thanks God you're not making the decision for us on draft day.

He's 6'0 lame and has avg. speed there are other wr in the league just like him and there will be other wr in next years draft just like him.

No way in hell. The falcons traded 5 picks to get Jones. Jones is bigger faster and played against top competition.Blackmon couldn't wash Jones's jock strap. Blackmon might fall behind Floyd.

Stop being stupid.

Oh my fuggn god!

Are you high right now?

Blackmon was said to be the best receiver after Green last year if he had came out.

im not even going to say anymore. keep smokin what you're smokin bro

yah, Dez, Nicks, Owens, Boldin, Holt, Issac Bruce and etc. were all 6'0"-6'3" receivers.

Half of them have average speed also.

Next year best wr is Robert Woods, and guess how tall he is? a flat 6 foot!

and there's no way he'll drop to us.

The tall wrs trend just started running around recently. In the past, height didn't even matter.

Cam needs a D that can get him stops, turn overs and short fields to work with. Not another Wr trying to out score teams. A better D will make a better offense.

Once again Blackmon is not a once in a life time talent. There will be another WR like him next year I promise.

Blackmon will be better than Moose, less than a Jerry Rice, maybe better than Hines Ward... do you take him at 9??

Coples. Coples. Coples.

Next JP! He even went to school in NC.

Our FO would be stupid not to pick him. Let Blaine play with a new toy in Jax by getting Blackmon.

You people act like it's a joke or playing madden to pick offense... we need help there also...lol.

You do understand we need to but point's on the board to win.

Right another Blackmon. No need to get off on this one. There is another 6'0 avg. speed wr coming next year.

Go ahead and take your 6'5" wrs.

Why do you care so much about height?

If you really knows anything about fb, you'll know that it takes more than height and speed.

Route running, being able to separate yourself from defenders, and the little things leads to bigger impact than just speed and height.

5th ranked scoring Offense with no offseason, a rookie QB, learning a new system on the fly, No defense or special team help.

The only offenses that were better had superbowl winning QB's (Brees, Rodgers, Brady) or a 3 year vet number 1 overall pick (Stafford) and his super freak wr (Megatron).

Point is we put points on the board. Problem was so did the other team.

A version of the same misinformed poo, namecalling and so-forth were said about Cam last year. All these experts speaking as if they know something for a fact with their crystal balls. The fact is, nobody really knows what Blackmon will do in the NFL, but you can say with all surety that he had a distinguished college career. You can also say that size is not the be-all-end-all litmus test for a receiver to be successful in the nfl (see Smitty and Wes Welker among others). Moreover, it is a fact that Blackmon has big hops. Not saying that all this really means poo, but being that I have faith in Rivera,Chud, and company---and in my estimation they have done a great job thus far---I will defer to their knowledge and be happy if they pick Blackmon, trade up, down, or whatever they do.

BTW, this is this year. Not last year. Not next year. This year. Award winning Blackmon is one of the best coming out this year. There is no Suh. There is no McCoy, etc.

Get over yourselves!

Blackmon being considered a better a WR prospect than Julio Jones is not an outlandish statement. Many, myself included, think he would have been the 2nd WR chosen after AJ Green. Faster doesn't necessarily mean better.

How about playing the best Competition in college every week which Blackmon didn't do.
