Oh Mr Scott,

Google Jakes extension and take a look at all the sites/blogs giving props to the panther for giving Jake that Money. I guess you dont have NFL network, which is where I get 95% of my info. No Espn either I guess? I am not going to waste my time finding links on the net to prove that signing Jake made no headlines around the league other then a few comments like "wow the Panthers re-signing Jake delhomme to a 42 million dollar extension. Have you not watched the draft? Have you not heard multiple commentators thinking we need to address qb needs? Better yet wise one, find some sites etc...that have praised this move and that does not ean someone states that we saved some cap room. Good luck.

As for my Everret knowledge...I dont watch my college. I am strictly NFL , and watch some of the combine etc...because I thought the pick was a reach for a #! pick I know nothing of football..ok

The only smart person here is Mr. Scott....

according to Mr. Scott

It's Ok to NOT do anything in FA if there doesn't seem to be anybody that hee feels is a good value. And if we let Peppers walk, all the pundits that said we should address quarterback might laugh at us and that bothers him.

He is an apologist. A chronic one. Don't bother with him. He is as biased as they come and reminds me of Darin ******* Gantt.

But do not get to negative on what the Panthers are doing people. The censors will put your thread i the smack forum if it says anything negative about the Panthers at all.

I LOVE the PANTHERS!!!!

GO Sir Purr!!!

Bojangles is great!!!

am I back in good graces now?

I will leave the razors on the counter before I leave...

... it's hilarious how illogical some fans can be, but really it makes sense when you see all the facts ignored (either on purpose or just due to ignorance)...

When you factor in all aspects, you see Hurney and Fox have made rather good decisions.

But since you all seem to ignore every aspect that comes into play (I call it the madden syndrome, when you think anything is possible), then I guess I have to agree with you.

Should have let Pep walk, gave up the entire next year draft for Cutler, signed a DE, DT, CB at all top knotch contracts. (Or what you will reply back with, sign mediocre/untalented players at vet minimum, just because.)

THE WORLD ISN"T OVER FFS!

lol

at least I find comedy in all of this baseless bullpoo you all keep spouting.

I wish for once, you all would tell us what you would have done instead... seems this is something that you all never step up and do...

---------------

Delhomme didn't have to restructure his contract. How else do you think we save cap space by not extending him with the money we have?

Do not fail to forget that he was going to get 13 mil or so (don't remember exact number)... That was only in 1 year.. with 7 mil left over in guaranteed money that he will get with this new contract over the next 4 years... (if you look at it fully, this is where all that money comes from that you are bitching about. Of course, thats put much too simply, but in hopes that you might actually grasp a little understanding on how this works.)
