If Beason, Davis and Anderson are healthy and ready to go where does he play? They could actualy be healthy and play.

I don't see it happening. But even if it did, Kuechly I think would still start at WLB. Davis would come in as a pass rushing guy on 3rd down, or rotate in. He's not being paid like a starter so we might as well preserve his knee for as much of the season as we can.

Cornerback is a deep position in the first round with Claiborne, Gilmore, Kirkpatrick, and Jenkins. However, after the first there are just a bunch of good to average nickelbacks.

We have a good nickelback in Munnerlyn, there is no need to go out and add another in Dennard, Hosley, or Robinson.

The only corner outside of the top four I mentioned that I think can be a capable starter in the NFL is Casey Hayward and that is based on the fact that he is just as good of a pass defender as Claiborne, Gilmore, Kirkpatrick, and Jenkins; but he lacks true speed and agility.

Hosley, Johnson and Robinson could start day 1 on this team. Calling them nickle backs is just your Opinion.

TEs are more heavily used now than ever in the passing game.....same with RBs. Who do you think is mainly responsible for covering them? Avg LB play gets picked apart in todays NFL.

Is it realistic to make plans based on the assumption Davis can play? I don't think it is....

Pass rush can come from players or scheme or both.

The best Pass rush you can get is if you can do it with just your front 4.

Yes I do. He'd get playing time. But when you have missed two years of football due to injuries, they tend to be cautious with players like that. It would give Davis more time to get the strength back in his knee, and be able to make a difference in package plays and situations. He would go back to the joker role he played so well his rookie year. He would still help us, just not as an every down guy anymore.

Exactly....If clairborne is gone I still would take Kirkpatrick or Gilmore.

TEs are definitely too good to have a bunch of Jordan Senns responsible for them.

Also, RBs have changed, the short passing game involving the RBs is being used to supplement rushes. Avg LBs get torched by them as well.

If you have a good Dline that makes it better for you're back 7.

Carolina doesn't want to run a cover 2 scheme. They rushed a lot of the front 4 only bc we were too weak all over and it was the only way to attempt to survive.

Thay also didn't have DT to stop the run or get constant pressure up the middle. Rivera and McD scheme works best when you can get pressure with your front 4 without blitzing. So when you biltz it actualy works.

Dude you're on fuging crack if you think that if Davis finds a way to make it back from 3 ACL tears and can Play. That anybody in this Organization is going to sit him on the bench.
