Panthers Apparently "love" Luke Kuechly

For a whole fuging game are you serious.

He couldn't play more then 15 snaps at DE or DT.

But Again I like Ingram but Cox gives you more of a full time player for our defense.

Cox and Ingram won't be starters this year unless they go to a team with little to no talent at all. Neither is good enough to start right away. Neither would start here.

Ingram would play all 3 downs. He can play strong-side linebacker, DE, and DT in a 4-3. He can play OLB, MLB, DE, in a 3-4. That's why teams like him so much. He's versatile enough that you can put him in a position no matter what down, or formation and he fits somewhere.

All I am trying to say is...

1. Kuechly is safest pick we can make.

2. Ingram can produce more for our D than Cox can.

3. I have no clue who were going to draft.

And all this safe poo is just your Opinion.

I think getting the best DT from the SEC is a safer pick.

And with no pass rush you can't compete in this passing league.

in Rivera's and McD's scheme....LBs are suppose to be part of it. They had no bodies to run their scheme last year and overall they didn't. Also, Hardy needs replacing.

And Cox can play 1 tech 3 tech and 5tech and can do it the whole game. He also can do it in the 4-3 and 3-4.

Dan Connor wasn't a bust... He was a BPA pick in the 3rd round. When he started he was serviceable. Not a pro bowler but held his own. AJ Hawk and Aaron Curry were top 10 picks. Hawk has been a serviceable starter. The Packers had to cut him and resign for less money but he's no Gholston. I see Kuechly as more of a Dan Morgan type. Dan Morgan was a brilliant football player with some very unfortunate injuries. The one year he broke his leg because the grass at Ericsson was breaking up under his feet! I would love to have another guy with Dan Morgan talent.

How many teams have starter on there bench. They are called back-ups for a reason.

What makes you so sure that he would ride the bench? Davis might not be ready. Beason might not be ready. Even if they both are, who's to say he doesn't make the starting lineup anyway? Beason and Davis were very good. But it's been 2 years since we have seen a full season from both of them together, and Davis is near 30 with a knee holding on by a thread. We are going to have to replace one or both of them sooner than any fan wants to admit, unless a miracle happens.

Thay also didn't have DT to stop the run or get constant pressure up the middle. Rivera and McD scheme works best when you can get pressure with your front 4 without blitzing. So when you biltz it actualy works.

If Beason, Davis and Anderson are healthy and ready to go where does he play? They could actualy be healthy and play.

Edwards is 32 year old 2 down DT.

We signed a guy already who will push or take martin's job.

Cb is deep in this draft we can get a starter in the 2nd round.

Cox offers rotation at every spot on the Dline.

Cox should be the pick.

Corrections,

Cornerback is a deep position in the first round with Claiborne, Gilmore, Kirkpatrick, and Jenkins. However, after the first there are just a bunch of good to average nickelbacks.

We have a good nickelback in Munnerlyn, there is no need to go out and add another in Dennard, Hosley, or Robinson.

The only corner outside of the top four I mentioned that I think can be a capable starter in the NFL is Casey Hayward and that is based on the fact that he is just as good of a pass defender as Claiborne, Gilmore, Kirkpatrick, and Jenkins; but he lacks true speed and agility.

How many teams have 2 of their 3 starting linebackers coming off of potentially career ending injuries. They are called serious injuries for a reason.

I know 55 you have it in your mind that Beason or Davis or Both won't make it. But what if by some magic they do.
