Panthers Apparently "love" Luke Kuechly

So they won't be used as back-ups at all right?? They are just LB by name they can't play LB you're right.

Again I ask who were the Giant's LB's.

Backups who are mostly special teamers will see some plays but if the starters go down we are serious trouble like last year.

Before we talk about the Giants linebackers maybe we should decide if we run even a remotely similar scheme. Lets talk the Eagles instead and at least you are in the ball park.

You clearly don't have a clue if you think Edwards won't be a three down DT. Go back and look at his body of work. He has been in the league long enough to prove his value.

Shirley did a good job and likely will only get better with playing time. He just needed a chance to show what he could do.

So Rivera says he has no problem with our DTs and it wasn't a need. What makes you think you know more than he does.

Rivera wouldn't throw his guys under the bus. I wouldn't believe anything coaches are saying after the season ends until it happens.

Throwing guys under the bus isn't the same as saying he likes who we have and won't upgrade. Notice he didn't say the same thing about the DBs at corner or safety. Big difference.

Do you know what your talking about Cox can play all the dLine position in either a 3-4 or 4-3 Ingram can't.

All I am trying to say is...

1. Kuechly is safest pick we can make.

2. Ingram can produce more for our D than Cox can.

3. I have no clue who were going to draft.

Ingram can play every position in the front 7 except the nose. And Fletcher Cox wouldn't do well there either and can't play linebacker. At least if you are going to be against drafting players, know what you're talking about.

1. Don't tell me about not having a clue when Edwards hadn't had more then 4 sacks in 1 year his whole career and that was 04'. He is a run stuffer if you expect any pass rush out of him be ready to have hurt feeling.

2. I like Shirley but I'm not going to sit here and call him a impact player. Are you out your fuging mind dude has been in the league 4 years with no impact. He might work out but I'm not going to bet on it.

3. He said that and then invited 5 of them for a visit.

Yes with week DT in front of them. We draft Cox and you can live with Avg. LB play.

TEs are more heavily used now than ever in the passing game.....same with RBs. Who do you think is mainly responsible for covering them? Avg LB play gets picked apart in todays NFL.

pending we don't start 2 rookies at DT....we have automatic improvement

For a whole fuging game are you serious.

He couldn't play more then 15 snaps at DE or DT.

But Again I like Ingram but Cox gives you more of a full time player for our defense.

I don't like the pick.

I would prefer a later round LB'er for backing up.

If we did not resign Davis I would be a tiny bit more comfortable.

He reminds me of a Curry/AJHawk/DanConnor kinda "cant' miss" guy.

He reminds me of a Patrick Willis, Dan Morgan kind of can't miss guy. We resigned davis to a small contract of less than 3 million. We don't need a backup we need a starter when Beason or Davis struggles and at least 1 will.

How many teams have starter on there bench. They are called back-ups for a reason.
