The Panthers treat Sam Mills as like the founder of the franchise. The Saints do nothing for him. This has been a rivalry debate for years. This is just one more point to rub their noses in whenever the argument arises.

As a player Mills made his name as a LB in NO.

He played here....his impact was different here. Mills impact in Carolina despite being a good LB was made by things that occured when he wasn't in pads.

Silly to fault the Saints fan for Mills always being a Saint in their eyes.....just like it is silly for a Saints fan not to acknowledge the impact he had on another franchise. Most reasonable fans don't get caught up with that.....there are always idiots you can find that will go against the norm.
