I don't think he can play on the inside in the NFL from the first day like the team is looking for with the 9th pick in the draft. If we're going to draft based on what ifs why not get another DT with a higher ceiling with Brockers.

Just another indicator at how much the Panthers could benefit from a trade down scenario.

Plenty of good options down the board at CB or DT. Trade down and go BPA at those positions.

Dude is 6'4 298-312 pounds and has the frame to add more weight without losing his 4.8 speed. Not to mention he is already stronger then Brocker 30 reps bench press to 19.

Cox has a pretty high ceiling as a DT already add in the fact that he can rush from the 5 tech and the ceiling gets higher.

The thing about Mock Draft's is they are all about entertainment value. Just like Rush Limbaugh. Sometimes they rank players with absolutely no facts to back it up just to be different than everyone else. The Nolan Nawraki guy was a nobody before he called Cam fake. Some people are even mocking RG3 number one even though Indy is drafting Luck barring tragic injury. It's all about generating hits and comments. That's why I like the guy Gosselin. He's not releasing mocks the day the season ends because he has some self respect.
