“I thought going in, with the way I performed I’d definitely get an opportunity to play,” Goodson said. “Some things happened. I didn’t get the opportunity I thought I should have. Then I got injured, and it really didn’t go the way I wanted last year.”

He has always had fumble issues. Rivera clearly recognized that in camp and didn't want to see it ....Goodson isn't a rookie. Armanti even fielded his punts cleanly in year 2.....Goodson should of done the same

The way that article is written, it seems as if he blames the coaching staff change for his disappearing act. he fumbled a decent amount. But, he was good when he didn't.

Tho that's a huge issue! lol and well, when the Panthers got Cam, running was at a minimum when it came to play calling for the first half of the season really. DWill and JStew didn't get many calls then either.

I want to see what he can do in Oakland. I think he can break out there if given the chance.

i was high on Goody when the Panther's drafted him. He could still be a stat stuffer in so many areas. Yeah, he had fumblitis which, umm, in football is like having chronic sea sickness while in the Coast Guard.

I saw one quote by Riveria about how Goody was content with being #3. Not sure how to read that.

Now he gets a shot to be the ghost of Tyrone Wheatley in Oak.

Got to admit that he showed flashes of something special when he had the opportunity, but he didn't deserve any more playing time than he got with the thorough-bred stable of RB's we already have. His fumble issues were a concern, but to think that is the sole reason he was in Rivera's doghouse is pretty simple-minded. I hope he does well in OAK, just not well enough to make this look like a stupid move for us. We need Bruce Campbell to be the beast his potential suggested he can be.
