Anyone see High School of the Dead? I watched 12 eps and I don't think they have gone farther than that.

Seen it, it's not the best anime out there but definitely entertaining, the Anime is up with the manga now but they've both been at the same spot in the story for a while and I don't know when they are going to restart it again

Just thought of another anime that is well worth checking out, Samurai 7 it's a great remake of Seven Samurai, the old Japanese flick that was the inspiration for the magnificent seven and other movies

I loved Fist of the North Star and Vampire Hunter D back in the 90s when I first saw them really haven't watched much since though. I remember how brutal they were at the time.

Berserk is one of my all time favorites. They are remaking the series into 3 movies in Japan, really hope it's as good as the original. Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, D.Gray Man, Ghost in the Shell, Samurai Champloo, Trigun, Wolfs Rain,Ergo Proxy, Samurai 7, Inuyasha, Soul Eater, Samurai Deeper Kyo and basically any of the Rurouni Kenshin series are some favorites as well.

I've seen Samurai Deeper Kyo like 3 times and I still forget what it's about. It's also one of the cases where the manga is severely different from the anime.

I've seen tons of anime. Most recently I watched 'Usagi Drop' which is about a young man who takes care of his recently deceased grandfather's illegitimate child. It's not the perverted lolicon show I was hoping for but it is a nice and touching drama.

Planning to watch Nisemonogatari next.

you should read the Usagi Drop manga... from what I've heard, It gets a little weird in the sense you were hoping for.

the Berserk anime is based on like the first 5 books of the manga it's now 30+ books long the movies are going to be based on more then the Anime which barely scratched the surface of the awesomeness of the Manga.

also with the Animes I listed earlier I refuse to list anything that is based on a Manga where the Manga is far superior like Berserk for example.

Also with that being said the Hellsing Ultimate OVA's are the Manga like straight from book to Anime, which makes it all kinds of awesome, I would recommending reading the Manga first but the OVA's are soooo awesome.

I recently watched through Another, which is a pretty decent series. I like the mystery type animes.

My all time favorite series is Bebop. I watch a few series here and there, but I can't really get into a lot of series.

Not much of an anime watcher as I'm more into manga atm.

Cowbow Bepop was my fav by a mile from what I've seen. Last good anime I watched was Mawaru Penguindrum, which a unique show.

Naruto and Bleach both had good starts but the quality tailed off drastically especially with Bleach.
