I'm in town for the Vietnam Veterans homecoming celebration held at Charlotte Speedway.. That is over and done with so I'm curious if anyone is familiar with the Carolina Panthers flag football tournament held at the stadium..

Can't find any information.. trying to show the family a good time, but this town blows.. Raleigh owns you.

i forgot about that. they usually hold it every march, it's hosted by miller light if i recall correctly.

i was gonna go in with a team of guys one year to compete, but none of us ever really got the time to dedicate to preparing. i got an official rulebook emailed to me and sat in my cubicle drawing up offensive plays in a notebook.

one of these days i'll do it.

Some friends and I took part in that tourney some years back ('04). That is the biggest crock of poo that I ever took part in. My team was in the 'Couch Potato' league as we never had played flag football as a team. There were teams in there that obviously had played together for years. They should have been in the upper leagues. Couch potato should have been for teams like mine. New to the fuging sport! The bad thing was that the first team we played barely fuging beat us. Bitches had uniforms and everything too! Punk fugs, were the the biggest posers I ever seen. I didn't want to shake their hands but I did none the less. Also, the qb can't run. Never got that. fug that poo! I won't drop another dime on that fuging tournament.

QBs can run.. there are zones where you can't: 5 yards on both sides of the "50".. and 5 yards from each endzone..

was pretty cool. turns out it's a pretty big deal.. saw quite a few teams I recognized from Raleigh.. talked with a group who drove up from Florida.. also learned why I am seeing ridiculous strategies in 7man that they obviously got from 4 man..

coed was pretty entertaining too..
