as for the topic at hand... it's really kind of a moot point either way. i do find some satisfaction in considering the idea that peyton's own words of advice directly influenced the betterment of the carolina panthers, and that they, poetically, doomed peyton's rookie passing record a year and a half later.

no reason to think the panthers won't come out on top as the better franchise over the next decade or so.
