Keyshawn Johnson calls Jarrett a "Bust"

You normally mentor and mold QBs. WRs normally don't sit or rarely play for two straight seasons. The kid is missing something, otherwise he would play more. Let's hope he pulls it together this year. This will be has last chance.

You have to remember though...Jarrett was only 20yrs old when he was drafted.

So we are going to act like Jake spreads the ball around & Jarrett was active on most Sundays?

He was inactive for a reason. Look, there were two rookies in the NFL last season that had more catches and were more productive than Jarrett has been in two years.

It's okay to admit he isn't WHERE we thought he'd be. Notice I didn't say WHAT. But as of right now, he's a bust. Like I said, hopefully he comes around this season. Otherwise, like Carter and Colbert...he's gone.

Terrible logic...DJ wasn't ready to takeover the reigns for Keyshawn that's the coaching staffs bad judgement. Year 2 he showed promise but STILL didn't get legit PT to show if he's a boom or a bust draft pick because Fox values vets (DJ Hackett)

Far from a bust just going through what DWill went through

Yeah terrible logic by the coaching staff, I never thought we should have cut Keyshawn that soon.

I hope this was meant to be sarcastic. He caught 10 passes.

So what? Thats all they threw at him. We ran a lot, threw it less than just about any team in the league, and only threw to Moose and Smith when we did throw it.

With Hackett gone, Jarrett will have the inside track at being the number 3 receiver this year, which means he might catch 25 balls. Thats all the staff will expect out of our number 3.

So? Keary Colbert had a lot of catches as a rookie too...where is he now?

Keyshawn Johnson had a very good season with the Panthers despite playing with an inaccurate quarterback who often makes poor decisions.

Ryne Robinson and Dwyane Jarret are not to be compared to a gamer like Keyshawn Johnson. Those guys probably won't combine to get 1/3rd of the cathes or yards he acquired in his career.

Hell, Jason Carter's probably a better receiver than those two guys.
