Let's not mention Thomas Keiser. Played very little last year and ended the season with 4 sacks. I think Keiser is probably our #3 DE on depth charts right now.

We need depth and luck at the LB position.

My biggest concern on defense is CB. Gamble is solid, but Munnerlyn and the rest of our secondary were 'meh' to bad last year.

I would not say that DE is fine.

Applewhite, Hardy, Tucker, and Keiser are NOT starting calibre DE's. We have depth, but do not have the other book-end to put with Johnson.

The Panthers have re-signed unrestricted free agent Antwan Applewhite. The defensive end signed with the Panthers in October and appeared in 12 games, recording 21 tackles and two sacks.

He has some serious potential

Applewhite, Johnson, Hardy, Keiser...if we get Coples, Perry, or whoever through the draft we could have a really nice rotation in place

I like Applewhite.

He has a great motor and is very good depth.

IF Edwards can come back and clog the middle, we have the makings of a decent D-Line

C. Johnson, Hardy, Applewhite, Keiser off the edges

Edwards, McClain, Shirley, Fua up the middle

Add a first round draft pick to either of these positions and we're in pretty good shape.
