Craigslist is a shady site. I've read lots of articles where criminals used the site to find people to rob. There was an Iraq veteran in Florida who recently was shot after listing gold jewelry on Craigslist. He survived the war on terror unscathed but Craigslist left him severely injured.

Yeah, I use a completely made up identity whenever I buy or sell something on CL.

I have sold alot of stuff on that site.

I once listed a 15 yr old car on there, and had it sold, cash in hand in less than 4 hours. I also bought my $18000 boat off that site.

I never list my phone number or exact location.

Anytime the words Western Union come up in a conversation thru Craigslist, be suspicious about it.
