From what I have seen and I watch tons of CFB, he is just as good as him. Claiborne size might give him the slight edge. Janoris has top 10 talent. Gilmore and Dre are selected ahead of him because they are safer picks.

1. Much rather have Coples, possibly Ingram or Kuechly than Poe @ #9.

2. 99.9% sure Janoris Jenkins wont fall that far. He's top 10 talent.

But who do you think is the 2nd best corner in the Draft? Because if you think its Jenkins and we get him in the 2nd... that would be sick right?

Out of all the choices at our draft position, if we pick Poe that would surprise me the most.

I just don't see an underachieving fat-ass as being the kind of player BAMF would be in favor of putting on his team.

To be 100% honest, I don't know that there is a big gap between Jenkins and Dre. Jenkins obviously has first round talent, but I'm talking more about what could happen vs. what should.

Yeah and I am also in agreement with people that question WR being that big of a need. LaFell and Gettis should do just fine. With Cam at QB you don't need Pro Bowlers. Just look what Brady and Manning did with what they had. Not comparing Cam to them at this point but it just goes to show you that WR isn't that big of a need. We also have playmakers in the TE position.

Dre has size and his tackling ability is really good. But his coverage skills aren't up to Jenkins. It's nice to be a big hitter and physical CB but if you get beat in coverage, your strengths mean very little. The gap is not that big because of Dre's potential but Janoris is a better CB top to bottom.

I love j jenkins. the guy can ball plus he has PR skills. imo rr can help mold character issue players like him into great players.

I know Jenkins is great in man which is what teams are looking for.

I'm not one that cares so much about the past. Sure 'buyer beware' with a guy that has character issues, but its about can the guy play.

Unfortunately, thats not how a lot of GMs think.

Getting Coples and Jenkins would make us draft winners no matter what happens past the second round.

Also, I think Cam would be great for Janoris. Both went through similar situations and Cam obviously handled it well. He'd be a good role model and influence on Jenkins.

I will say I am not sure I'd want Janoris returning punts. I think he'd be decent, better than what we have, but I think those great punt returns at UNA were a bit overblown because of the talent level. At UF he wasn't that great of a returner.

Avg height of the NFL CB is around 5'10, 5'11. Being 6' and over isn't a requirement. Helps because of the size of receivers now, but it doesn't mean they are better. Revis is 5'11
