1st. Dontari Poe, DT, Memphis

I've been holding off on drafting a defensive lineman early for quite some time, but at this point in time I've come to think of it as the best option. With Janoris Jenkins and Dre Kirkpatrick both sliding and Morris Claiborne likely not, that leaves my choice to be between Michael Brockers, Quinton Coples, and Dontari Poe. While one might argue that replacing Hardy with Coples might be the answer, but the DT position has been a question mark for years now. Ron Edwards is an average at best veteran coming off of injury. Andre Neblett is on his last year of contract and has been a great rotational player, but not a dominating starter. Poe will require two men to block, and while Brockers and Coples are amazing athletes, having a big boy that could play the NT spot in 3-4 looks would also allow the defense more flexibility. He'll also be a big help in defending the run, which was something that the Panthers were awful at.

2nd. Janoris Jenkins, CB, North Alabama
