It very well be gamesmanship.

Convice other teams that you are interested in Tannehill....therefore any team really interested in Tannehill may think they need to trade up with you to get him.

Not really that hard to understand.

Could be, so could the whole "Colt is our guy." topic...

I think if your team views any QB as a potential franchise guy and you do not have a franchise guy on your roster, you have to make that pick. Cam Newton proved that. I mean, what if, in retrospect, the Panthers had passed on Newton and went with Clausen or Moore?

If they think Tannehill is a franchise QB, they would be stupid to pass on him. Of course, the Browns are pretty stupid.

Another thing to consider about Claiborne is that if he DOES fall past the Rams, teams will be making serious offers to Jax and Miami, especially Miami if Tannehill is off the board.

  He was vastly improved today and we need to see more of Bryce the rest of the season to continue evaluate him in order to decide what the heck to do with him at the end of the season. He must play at least like this and improve more from here the rest of the season in order for me to keep him. No more 123 yard passing games and want to see at least this output weekly from him. If this is Bruce improving slowly over time then Canales is even better with developing QB's than I thought he was but still too early to tell and we need to see him the rest of the way as he has at very least earned back the starting gig moving forward.
