And Cassel has done FAR more to warrant it than Stafford.

Makes me wonder why they would do this NOW? Something possibly in the works?????? They had boatloads of cap room and didn't "need" to do a deal with Cassel now.

So? What does age have to do with guaranteed money given based on actual NFL performance? They will both be playing on other contracts, this is Jake's last one and no way he plays for 5 more years...NO WAY. Cassel is getting more guaranteed money than Brady which is INSANE, but Stafford's getting it is even MORE insane.
