It was free to attend and they had food and beer vendors on site

And several on-site ATMs for those folks who didn't know about the mass amounts of beer available. If I remember they ran about 6 bucks a bottle, so standard prices.

Yeah the food and drinks are a bit of a racket. Low quality stadium food for high prices. There are lots of sponsors with freebies like a cup of Bojangles iced tea or pepsi max diet soda. Restrooms are of the portable variety. It's nice to arrive early for an easy time getting into the weight room and doing the kids activities on the field. However you will run out of things to do well before 8:00pm at that rate. Last year they had a pretty good country act after the pick but the pre draft concert was pretty lame.

If you're really looking to listen to the coverage and catch all the picks then don't go. If you want to be around Panther nation and cheer for our pick then it's a pretty good time. I found it easier to watch the coverage inside the stadium in seats rather than standing outside. However they turned off the coverage inside the stadium to get everyone outside for a photo op. Wear good shoes, lots of standing and walking. They said there will be Panthers signing autographs this year so that could be nice.

The other thing it's good for is picking up your new Panther gear if you're into that sort of thing. They will probably have tons of merchandise with the new logo and make the expensive jerseys on site with the new players name.
