Cam The Camel

I have a 6 and 4 year old, both boys and godless heathens. The new Cam commercial has caught them by storm. They know Cam. He can fly. He's superman. They mimic him. My 4 year old came across a stuffed camel yesterday. He decided to call it Cam the Camel. He then tells me "he plays football. hes really a panther".

The Cats have a chance to do something my Oilers could never do while I was growing up: Give me a larger than life hero. Yeah, I had Moon. You see where the comparisons end. We always had "The Dream" and Bags and Biggio were a childhood fixture. But they have CAM.

I didn't have Hakeem the Horse and he was as big as a hero as you could have gotten in Houston at the time.
