I would love to keep them both, at at this point it is very cheap to have them both through the end of Williams' deal from the $$ I see. If he has a great year next year, I would at least give him a bump to reward him for that. He seems to be the type of dude that as long as the team would be fair with him he would stick around, but you never know.

I doubt it. His first two years he was back up to Foster and really didn't get much playing time at all for a rookie. So for his age he probably has a ton of tread left on his tires compared to other 26 year olds in the league.

I doubt the Panthers will give him an extension if he does really great next season. Expect him to be traded for two first round picks. They will make Stewart the starter in 2010. We just can't afford to keep both of them.

exactly. one thing that hurney has shown especially this off season is hes willing to spend the money to keep our core players around.

Maybe, but if Williams keeps having years like last season, that will make him one of the elite backs of the league. Team's don't usually let players like that walk.
