Ctp's 32 Days Before Draft Mock Draft

First things first. Poe in the first, for me, shouldn't happen. All he has is an impressive combine. That doesn't cut it. I hope the front office does it's due diligence with this guy. I'll gladly accept him on to the roster if they pick him in the first. As of now, I say hell no. Second, Boykins bothers me in the second round, when you can have other CB's in the second. Hayward, Minnifield, Hosley, Dennard,Robinson, Johnson etc.

Martin was a reach for me.

Love the 5th pick.

Ditto on the 6th, but think he would be available for us in the early 7th round.

The surprise pick was the TE, good pick. If he's there in the 7th, he definitely fits the profile Chudzinski looks for in a TE.

Second scenario was kinda better. But Boykins doesn't do it for me.

Their are 10-12 LB rated to go in the 4th and 5th round. I see that as a bigger need then WR.

Anything passed the first round or two is almost always BPA. If the staff has a WR as the BPA, then so be it.

Plus, OP didn't say who was or wasn't already off the board. If most of those LBs with 4th round grades you mentioned are off the board, which I am assuming based on his mock, then I have no problem with a WR.

Then it's not a realistic mock. Might as well have us drafting Coples in the 2nd round.

People said the same thing about capt. we all know how that ended. Really don't like this mock. Not 1 LB really???

Honestly, Cap's size isn't his problem. It's his lack of talent and knowledge of how to play CB. His worst attribute is getting lost in coverage, turning the wrong way when flipping his hips, biting on fakes, stuff like that. If he were in the proper position and knew proper technique, his height wouldn't be an issue 90% of the time.

Say that when Graham, Jones, Jackson and Colston are catching passes over top of him.

Their is a reason people look for bigger CB.

Those guys don't usually catch passes over him, if Cap is covering them they tend to catch it wide open because he got lost somewhere between the snap and the catch. 6' and under CBs succeed all the time. I bet there's more good CBs under 6' than over.

You are talking 5'10-5'11 not to many good to great 5'9 and 5'8 cb in the league. Most of them are playing the slot wr.
