these two guys don't get it....

A lawsuit against someone because of an accusation of being a tattletale. Shockey should have responded with the classic "I'm rubber, your glue" line.

this. one cane talked to much, while the other is acting like a baby. this is not the reason why teams havent signed him yet.

these guys do...

If it is hurting his ability to get a job it is definitely a case of lible whether you mock it or not.

Not to mention whether the allegations are true or not, more players are gonna come after him when/if he returns to the field.

I've had Charter, TWC, and ATMC. TWC was the best of the bunch and ATMC is the worst, which is what I'm currently stuck with. I'd kill to have TWC back, I can stream NFLN on my phone and hook it up to my TV for all I care.

you just compared the WORST cable companies in the nation and TWC came out on top.. lol

Its not as cut and dry as some seem to think.

Shockey's lawsuit

If he’s not the whistleblower, Shockey could sue Sapp and/or the league for defamation of character, since Sapp uttered facts about Shockey that aren’t true. The problem with a defamation of character lawsuit is that damages are determined by assessing the impact on the plaintiff’s reputation. This makes consideration of the player’s pre-existing reputation critical to the process. Which, in Shockey’s case, makes a defamation of character claim not extremely valuable — unless he can prove that a team would have signed him if he hadn’t incorrectly been identified as the whistleblower.

And that simply isn’t going to happen.

Not to aplologize for Time Warner but the NFL network will not come down from what they want TWC to charge to carry their NFL network. The last thing a cable company needs right now is to raise their rates by 5.00-7.00 as Fox, Espn and others all have demanded 100-500% increases to carrry their tier of channels.

The NFL network is considered a specialty demographic and makes it hard to justify a price increase where when Fox or ESPN demands it.... They have to give in.

With that said thats why Dish and Direct is the way to go.

I have TWC and want to switch b/c i want NFLN. I thought about switching to AT&T but I call to ask them a question on my account that I started and their customer service sucks. I don't see saving any money with Dish or Direct, so I still have TWC.
