I'd hardly call this guy a scrub. I initially told you guys that this was a direct recommendation from Cam Newton himself, at the time it was an educated guess, but now there's proof that my theory was spot on.

In saying that, I think ANY reccomendation coming from Cam means a whole hell of a lot more than any fans opinion, no matter how close they are to the team.

He knows what we have on the roster, and in working with him at IMG saw something in him that he obviously felt strongly enough to call the staff and get this guy signed!

My bet is that he will make the team and play a major role in the offense, and or ST...

Once again, that last part is my opinion, but we'll have to wait a few months to see if I'm right yet again.

I hate everyone comparing players to other players based on race. Cam =/= Vick/Russel, Manno =/= Welker/Proehl. Who cares what color their skin is?

The most intriguing thing that I got from that article is that u read in between the lines... Sure there was a lot of great info, and sure we have a great WR corp as it is, but I'll tell you this...

Do NOT sleep on this Chris Manno kid that we just signed!!! He has been working Exclusively with Cam all Summer and they have already developed something that Gettis has not (timing) not to say that Gettis isn't there too (and just not being reported).

This Manno guy will probably make the team, even if he starts out on ST, he's probably a baller! If you think that Cam didn't have something to do with this signing your fuggin Nuts! This no name guy might be a household name by Sept or Oct...

He could, special teams. If Cam was working out with him, they could have chemistry together. If Cam feels comfortable throwing to him, I'm all for it.
