So it saves us like 2.4 mill this year? Which would put right at ~5 mill?

Yeah not that huge and will only cover the Draft picks. We will need to find alittle more room because we will pick up a FA after the draft.

5 mill for a pick in each round from the 2nd to 6th? Not to mention late round picks at that. Thought we'd have around 2-3 mill left over after draft picks. 5 mill seems kinda high with no 1st rounder.

we should only need about 3 million for our picks considering we only have 5 of them and no first rounder. I was right when I figured it would be between 2-3 million this season in savings.

On another note, his contract has a huge incentive based on this season for next season. If he hits them, his hit next year would probably go up to 15 million range because of the uncapped year. He will probably only see about 35 million of this at max and that's if he plays the whole contract out, which looks entirely plausible.
