Panthers Are Listening To Offer For J-Stew

Yes. #4 at least. Never give up your best players. These idiots would trade Newton for a draft pick.

LOL. That made me giggle a little bit.

I don't think it is that bad. But with this many people floating around, you are bound to have some off the wall ideas. Personally, I think it keeps it lively during the down times.

Do you honestly believe this is a good analogy?

No one seemed to understand the a good football player is better then a marginal draft pick when you will get compensation when he leaves one so i avoid anything to do with football so maybe theyd get it.

I'm not disagreeing with you, btw...I just think the analogy was...um...not particularly accurate ;)

Been looking over a couple other MB's on this...lots of opinions reflect that trading a second round pick to rent JStew for a year is not even close to worth it, yet I think that's what it would take to move him.

I want him to stay and I still think that is the long term objective.

Can someone translate this to English?

I guess

Jstew = supermodel

Tolbert = bad and busted

I assume this is what he meant with this completely off the wall and overly horrible analogy.

Bad and busted would be a 3rd round draft pick we can expect to get. Tolbert would be the super models fat friend who is super nice and a great friend!

If teams aren't lining up to trade a second today, why would settling for the compensatory 3rd draft pick be a bad decision IF Stewart can't be extended? Also we haven't watched one snap of Tolbert playing in this scheme...

I wouldn't say never. If some foolish team was will to make a dallas minnesota style trade for Stewart, we should jump at the opportunity. They wont, but still. :)

I really like JStew, but he won't get Herchel Walker interest...but we can dream, right?
