We need a more dominate pass rush. we were 25th in sacks last year. that is not good enough. we have to get more pressure on the qbs. if claiborne isnt there to fix our coverage issues, its gotta be coples.

How the hell would that fix anything? What are the ends gonna do when they get guided past the QB because he can step right up in the center of the pocket while the DTs are doing jack poo?

Anyone thinking we are going to take DT or DE in this draft are just brain dead retards. Hurney is not going to give up on Fun or

McClain after one year and he is not going to give up on Hardy after 2.

In this draft its either LB or CB in the first. I'm hoping CB.

Hardy is a 6th round pick. It's not a matter of "giving up" on him, he was never really intended to be a starter and only is because Brown didn't pan out.

Maybe I do not get it, but Poe had a good combine. Why do Poe addicts not refer to his play at Memphis? Why is running fast more important for a DT than stiffling double teams or tackles for loss? He was average at a second-tier college a few months ago. Top ten pick?

He will bust wherever he goes.

Besides, I was under the impression we needed a 3 technique.

Please offer facts to help me get over this thinking--what really so great about Poe?

Don't we already have a Poe on our team?

Jason Shirley - 6'5" 345 lbs

Frank Kearse - 6'5" 335 lbs.

Poe will do just what Kearse and Shirley did and can do.

We need DB, pass rush, or LB help.

My thoughts exactly.

Caliborne

Blackmon (if he falls)

Coples

Kuechly

Ingram

Cox

IF we go DT at #9, I think Poe is the only one that has the "potential" to deserve that. I'm not sure any of the DT's will be great in the next few years. So who will/could be great(or at least start) at 9? Coples, DeCastro, CB(Kirkpatrick, Jenkins), and all can probably had below 9 with a trade back
